The predetermined protocol includes a protocol defining that at least one portion of a bit sequence constituting the communication data should be associated with an operation of the switching regulator. The second communication apparatus causes the switching regulator to operate in a time period in which the at least one portion of the communication data is received, in a state where the communication data is received.
