The circuit assembly comprises an impedance circuit, a signal processing unit, a first electrical signal path, and a second electrical signal path. The first electrical signal path is coupleable to a first electrical output of the microphone and is furthermore coupled to a first input of the signal processing unit. The second electrical signal path is coupleable to a second electrical output of the microphone and is furthermore coupled to a second input of the signal processing unit via the impedance circuit. An impedance value of the impedance circuit is selected based on an impedance value of the inherent impedance of the microphone.
