The deviated amount setting operation includes a first recording step, in which a first image is recorded after the carriage is placed at rest for a length being shorter than or equal to a first period; a second recording step, in which a second image is recorded after the carriage is placed at rest for a second period being longer than the first period, and a deviated amount setting step, in which the controller obtains a distance between the first image and the second image and stores the obtained distance in the memory device as a deviated amount.
