The microprocessor unit controls the printer based on an obtained comparison result so that the print data can be printed on a target paper on which the print data should be printed, and controls the printer based on the obtained comparison result so that any surplus paper other than papers that are necessary and sufficient can be separated from papers on which the print data has been printed.
