The washing machine includes a main body, a tub provided within the main body, a drying duct connected to the tub so as to supply low-humidity air to the tub, and the balance weight mounted on the tub so as to reduce vibration of the tub. The balance weight includes a first weight member and a second weight member separably connected to the first weight member. The first weight member includes a connection part provided at one end thereof such that the second weight member is connected to the connection part, and a space formation part having a smaller thickness in the axial direction of the tub than the second weight member so as to form a space in which the drying duct is disposed.
