The method for downloading installation package comprises the steps of receiving request information for downloading installation package from a hardware client, acquiring the installation package and a dynamic link library related to the installation package upon the receipt of the request information for downloading the installation package, compiling the dynamic link library that has been acquired to reduce a size of the dynamic link library, packing the dynamic link library and the installation package, wherein the size of the dynamic link library has been reduced, and transmitting the dynamic link library and the installation package to the hardware client.
