The present disclosure is directed to a bed covering. In some embodiments, a bed covering according to the present disclosure can include a fitted base configured to at least partially enclose a mattress, a comforter portion including an end connected to the fitted base and sides removably connectable to sides of the fitted base, and extendable side flaps connected to the sides of the comforter portion.
