An upper end (40) of a top portion (6) of the chute (10) is removably and reattachably engaged with a top attachment member (36) mounted to the blade housing (102). A bottom portion (8) of the chute (10) is removably and reattachably engaged with a bottom attachment member (26) mounted to a rear side (106C) of a fence (106) of the saw (100). Two side edges (44, 46) of the top portion (6) are respectively attached by two side tension cords (18) to left and right sides (106B, 106A) of the fence (106). One of the side tension cords (18) can be used with a tension block (20, 28) to form a tensioning system.
