Abstract:
A process for the preparation of a catalyst that is in the form of solid particles includes preparing a solution of a complex of a metal and an electron donor; adding to the solution solid material obtaining a suspension combining the suspension at a temperature of at least 50° C. with at least one transition metal compound resulting in a precipitation of the catalyst being in the form of a solid particle; and optionally separating the catalyst.
