The method includes receiving a user selection of a template from a user. The method includes receiving geometry content information from the user and receiving reference geometry from a user. The method includes creating the booklet of CAD drawings based on the template, geometry content information and reference geometry. A CAD system maintains a CAD drawing booklet, the CAD drawing booklet associated with a plurality of drawings each including a sheet collection, and each drawing associated with at least one component.
