The carving work forms linear V-shaped grooves on the front surface side of the plate-like body such that each minute section includes a plurality of grooves. Shading of the image is expressed by the depths of the V-shaped grooves. The image is displayed by light absorption on the surface layer portion and light reflection on the V-shaped grooves.
