The present application provides the washing machine comprising a tub configured to store wash water therein; a drum rotatably installed in the tub and accommodating laundry therein; a driving shaft connected to the drum; at least one bearing configured to support the driving shaft; a motor mounted to an outer surface of a rear wall of the tub and connected to the driving shaft; and a bearing housing comprising a hub configured to accommodate the at least one bearing and a flange provided around the hub and coupled to a stator of the motor, the bearing housing buried in the rear wall of the tub.
