A protective crawling garment that protects the front side of a baby and the baby's clothes. The garment comprises an article of clothing that is worn over the front of the baby's body over the clothes. The upper part of the article may be removed and may be used separately when desired. The lower part of the article includes cushioning leg pads that provide protection for the baby's skin and knees from the friction produced when crawling.
