The medical imaging apparatus includes a storage unit storing images, a controller calculating a residual capacity among the storage capacity of the storage unit and determining whether or the residual capacity is less than a predetermined reference value, and a display unit displaying an auto deletion popup window receiving setting regarding a reference date for deletion of the stored images, if the residual capacity is less than the predetermined reference value.
