The device includes an input part and an output part having a common axis of rotation around which the input part and the output part are jointly rotatable relative to one another, and a spring damper arrangement that has at least one energy storage device. A friction device is effective between the input part and the output part and is arranged radially outside the at least one energy storage device, in order to provide a torque transmission device having a construction that is optimized with respect to the installation space.
