An electronic circuit includes a sequential circuit and a control circuit. A first signal, a second signal, and a third signal are input to the sequential circuit as a start signal, a clock signal, and a reset signal, respectively. The sequential circuit outputs, as an output signal, a fourth signal whose state is set in accordance with the state of the inputted first signal, second signal, and third signal. The control circuit controls the state of the third signal input to the sequential circuit.
