The second substrate opposite to the first substrate has a top surface and a bottom surface facing the first substrate. The display medium is sandwiched between the first and the second substrates. The second electrode set disposed on the second substrate includes second electrode subsets arranged along a second direction intersected with the first direction. The patterned-common-electrode layer includes openings is disposed between the first and the second electrode sets. An orthogonal projection of the openings is overlapped with that of the first and the second electrode subsets.
