The zoom lens includes, in an order from an object side to an image side: a front lens group having a negative refractive power; an aperture stop; and a rear lens group having a positive refractive power, wherein the front lens group includes a first lens group having a positive refractive power, a second lens group having a negative refractive power, and a third lens group having a negative refractive power, and the third lens group includes at least one positive lens and one negative lens and performs focusing, and the rear lens group includes at least two lens groups that are moved during zooming and have a positive refractive power, wherein at least one of the lenses of the two lens groups perform hand shake correction.
