The bottle, optionally the closure, comprises first and second elements lying in a plane substantially perpendicular to a main axis extending between the first end and an opposite second end of the bottle when the closure is in the closed position, the first and second elements being respective portions of the first end that are furthest along the main axis from the second end. The bottle, optionally the closure, also comprises a recessed portion extending between the first and second elements, the recessed portion being recessed from the plane in a direction along the main axis towards the second end, whereby the first and second elements are separated from each other in the plane by a gap.
