The layout area of each pixel of the OLED display panel is specially designed to be a rectangle in shape, and the pixels are driven in such a manner that each two sub-pixels are taken as a unit to be driven. As such, according to the interaction manner among sub-pixels of the pixels, two sub-pixels can be viewed as one pixel to achieve more pixels within 1 inch in comparison with the conventional panels, which enables the current AMOLED driving circuit designs to be used in specific high resolution applications.
