The heat exchanger plates (110,210) are stacked onto one another such that flow channels (211,212) are formed between said plates (110,210), and the flow channels (211,212) are in selective communication with port openings (140,240). Port skirts (170,250,260) are arranged on the heat exchanging plates (110,210), said port skirts (170, 250, 260) at least partly surrounding the port openings (140,240), extending in a generally perpendicular direction as compared to a plane of the heat exchanger plates (110,210) and being arranged to overlap one another to form a pipe like configuration or a part thereof.
