A liquid ejection apparatus comprising: a nozzle; a pressure chamber communicating with the nozzle; a laminated body including a piezoelectric element, the laminated body covering the pressure chamber, the laminated body defining a communications opening therethrough; a reservoir communicating with the pressure chamber via the communication opening; a wall extending from the laminated body so as to extend around the communication opening, the wall including a conductive portion; a drive contact electrically connected to the piezoelectric element by a conductor including the conductive portion of the wall.
