The backlight unit upwardly emits light. The liquid crystal panel is disposed on the backlight unit to receive the light, and displays an image using characteristics of liquid crystal. The first luminance increasing film is interposed between the backlight unit and the liquid crystal panel, and increases luminance using a first prism part formed along an X-axis direction. The second luminance increasing film is interposed between the backlight unit and the first luminance increasing film, increases luminance using a second prism part formed along a Y-axis direction, and has a refractivity greater than the first luminance increasing film.
