The distribution of the contrast of the liquid crystal display panel varies depending on the azimuth direction. Then, the azimuth direction in which the contrast of the liquid crystal display panel is small is equal to the azimuth direction in which the emission intensity when parallel light is incident on the anisotropic diffusion film is strong, to achieve uniform contrast in all azimuth directions.
