When a second type instruction is input, an associated information acquisition unit queries a plurality of server devices with the text, and an associated information display unit displays the associated information provided in a popup. Thus, in addition to the Web document, a user is presented with associated information such as the safety of the URL, translation results of the text into various languages, and ads highly relevant to the text.
