The device includes reception circuitry adapted to receive a data unit from a first node of a network and a confirmation message signal from a second node of the network. Analysis circuitry is adapted to determine a failure to correctly receive the data unit. Transmission circuitry is adapted to transmit a negative acknowledgement signal to the first node in case the analysis circuitry determines the data unit has not been correctly received and the confirmation message signal from the second node is received.
