Abstract:
A lining part for mounting on a vehicle body part with an airbag module, wherein the lining part includes a support part, fabric part, and protection layer. The support part has a base body with an airbag depolyment opening therein. The base body includes a deployment channel wall extending from a first edge region to a second edge region. The fabric part includes a cover section extends partially over the deployment opening leaving an opening strip free up to a distance to the second edge region. The protective layer covers the deployment opening and is situated on a first surface of the fabric part.
