The solar cell includes: a back electrode layer disposed on a support substrate; a light absorbing layer disposed on the back electrode layer; a front electrode layer disposed on the light absorbing layer; a connecting wire extending through the light absorbing layer and electronically connecting the back electrode layer with the front electrode layer; and a side insulating part formed on a side surface of the connecting wire.
