The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a steel Yankee cylinder (1), where the Yankee cylinder (1) is welded together from individual pre- or finish-machined cylinder sections (8, 9, 10).The invention also relates to a Yankee cylinder (1) that is manufactured using the manufacturing process according to the invention.
