A storable poncho includes a belt having a first end, a second, opposite end configured to be releasably attached to the first end, an upper edge and a lower edge. The storable poncho further includes a first flap secured to the belt adjacent to one of the upper edge and the lower edge of the belt, and a body portion including fabric material configured to cover at least a portion of a user's body when worn. The body portion is secured to one of the upper edge and the lower edge of the belt. The body portion is covered by the first flap when configuring the body portion in a stored condition.
