After separation, the direction of the rotation motion is chosen and the device is activated. Once activated, the drive mechanism converts rotation motion into a reciprocating rotation motion thereby enabling the applicator head to simultaneously travel back and forth and rotate for purposes of applying cosmetic product. The applicator head via transfer vibration can be vibrated along or in conjunction with the reciprocation rotating motion for purposes of apply cosmetic product.
