The audio mixing console also includes a wireless transceiver provided substantially outside the main housing and an interface connected to the wireless transceiver. The audio mixing console further includes a radio-frequency permeable housing detachably coupled to a second outer surface of the main housing, wherein the wireless transceiver is positioned within the radio-frequency permeable housing.
