The electrochromic structure includes a display layer including a first substrate (9), a color layer (7) and a second substrate (5); and a background layer including a controllable layer (3) and a third substrate (1); and the display layer is over the background layer. The electrochromic structure has clear hierarchy and simple structure, and can be made into display devices of larger size.
