To provide a roller which is advantageously formed with regard to locking by foot operation, it is proposed that an actuating portion of the actuating element (5) extends circumferentially at least far enough that a second foot actuation in the circumferential direction with respect to the vertical (V) may be carried out next to an area of the actuating portion by way of which a first foot actuation has been carried out.
