The adjustable chair further includes an adjustment mechanism that is selectively movable between a plurality of positions for securing the upper frame relative to the lower frame in a corresponding plurality of orientations. A method of adjusting an adjustable chair including a first chair portion carrying a seat and a second chair portion includes providing the first chair portion and the seat in a first orientation relative to the second chair portion. The first chair portion is pivoted about a first pivot axis to provide the first chair portion and the seat in a second orientation relative to the second chair portion.
