The imaging unit images a first image and generates imaging data. The information acquisition unit acquires first information derived from the imaging data and relating to a second image. The display unit includes an image light emission unit and a semi-transmissive reflection plate. The image light emission unit emits image light. The semi-transmissive reflection plate causes the image light to be incident on one eye and causes background light of the first image to be incident on the one eye. The semi-transmissive reflection plate is disposed between the first transmittance control unit having first and second regions and the one eye. The first transmittance control unit causes a transmittance of the first region to be lower than a transmittance of the second region.
