The contact has at least one housing fixing unit that is disposed in a middle portion in the longitudinal direction of the contact and is embedded in the housing and fixed thereto, and a pair of overhanging portions that are respectively disposed at both ends of the housing fixing unit and overhang in a direction vertical to a longitudinal direction of the housing fixing unit. A portion of the housing that is in contact with the housing fixing unit is fitted between the pair of overhanging portions.
