In a case where a cause of interruption of a job setting operation is generated at a timing other than a predetermined timing, information on the displayed screen and information on the job settings are stored. When the cause of interruption has been removed, the stored screen information and information on job settings are read out, and the interrupted state of the job setting operation is reproduced.
