The control device comprises a means for sealing, and a means for deactivating at least one pipe which is able to be controlled between a first position in which the pipe supplies the cylinder with the intake gases (F) and a second position in which the pipe supplies the cylinder with the recirculated exhaust gases. The means for sealing is configured so as to be displaced as a result of the difference in pressure between the intake and the exhaust on both sides of the means for sealing between a locked position of the means for deactivating in the first position, and a position of release of the means for deactivating.
