A mobile terminal according to the present disclosure may include a sensor unit configured to sense at least one external terminal provided with a sensor executing a preset function and located within a preset range from the mobile terminal; a display unit configured to display an object corresponding to the sensor and an object corresponding to the sensed at least one external terminal, respectively; and a controller configured to transmit a control signal of the sensor to at least one external terminal selected from the external terminals based on a preset user input applied to each of the displayed objects.
