The isolation circuit further comprising at least a first capacitive isolation component comprising a first electrically conductive element and at least one further electrically conductive element formed from at least a part of printed circuit board layer, the first and at least one further electrically conductive elements being electrically isolated with respect to one another and arranged to comprise capacitive characteristics there between.
