The color filter comprises a substrate, on which a plurality of pixel regions are formed, in each of the plurality of pixel regions, a color film and a black matrix is provided, and a reflecting layer for reflecting ambient light entering into the color film is provided on a surface of the black matrix. Compared to the prior art, the present invention can improve the utilization rate of ambient light and improve the display effect.
