The control unit checks if the illuminance detected by the sensor system exceeds a predefined threshold value and if the current position of the Sun is in a predefined angle range, and controls the shading device according to a result of the check such that the shading device interrupts a beam path of a part of the optical radiation incident on the liquid crystal display.
