The relay includes a first fixed contact connected to a power source, a second fixed contact separated from the first fixed contact, and connected to a load, and a moving contact configured to be brought into contact with or separated from the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact. The moving contact includes a first moving contact configured to be brought into contact with or separated from the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact and a second moving contact separated from the first moving contact, and configured to be brought into contact with or separated from the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact. Accordingly, the moving contact can be prevented from being separated from the fixed contact by an inter-electron repulsion.
