The reference plane is provided upstream in the feed direction of a downstream end in the feed direction of the sheet stacked on the stacking member in a state in which the sheet feed cassette is attached to the attachment position of the apparatus body and is provided under, in terms of a vertical direction, an uppermost sheet stacked on the stacking member in the state in which the sheet feed cassette is attached to the attachment position of the apparatus body.
