The composition includes a fruit-vegetable extract, the composition formulated for contact with the mammal's skin, the fruit-vegetable extract present in an amount effective to alleviate or inhibit one or more symptoms associated with carpal tunnel syndrome, acid reflux, psoriasis, cartilage nodules, fibromyalgia, diabetes, or hypoglycemia in the mammal. The method includes contacting the mammal's skin with a composition that includes a fruit-vegetable extract. The fruit-vegetable extract is present in an amount effective to alleviate or inhibit one or more symptoms associated with carpal tunnel syndrome, acid reflux, psoriasis, cartilage nodules, fibromyalgia, diabetes, or hypoglycemia in the mammal.
