The notifications presented to a particular scheduler may be selected based on one or more exam parameters associated with a patient, for example. Thus, only those notifications that are relevant to the exam parameters associated with a particular patient's exam are presented to the scheduler, and the scheduler is required to respond to only those notifications that a scheduling administrator has determined require a response.
