The generation unit generates broadcast information indicating, among a plurality of available frequency bands for wireless communication, a frequency band to be used to transmit same data at a same timing with another base station. The transmission unit broadcasts the broadcast information. A mobile station includes a reception unit and a control unit. The reception unit receives the broadcast information broadcast by the base station. The control unit controls, based on the broadcast information, reception of same data transmitted at the same timing from the base station and the other base station.
