The roll-off piston (1) is configured as a plunge piston and has a preferably central support (2) for a stop buffer (3) acting in an axial direction of the air spring. The support (2) is preferably made of steel and can be received in a recess in the roll-off piston. The recess is of complementary configuration to the shape of the support and can be connected to the piston.
