In particular, the present disclosure provides techniques for capturing the image or video using a camera integrated with a computing device, such as a cellular phone. A computing device can include an image sensor to capture image data and a processor to process the image data. The image sensor is to capture the image data in an orientation format irrespective of an orientation of the computing device.
